Julia Perazzini (1982, Lausanne. Lives and works in Lausanne) graduated from the Manufacture – Haute école de théâtre de Suisse romande (HETSR) of Lausanne in 2006. She has worked in the theater with many outstanding professionals. Most recently, she took part in performances in contemporary art spaces with international artists (Mathieu Copeland, Circuit, Lausanne, 2013). Parallel to her activity as a professional actress, Perazzini works in the fields of performance, contemporary dance and music, together with Anne-Sylvie Henchoz and the band Larytta, among others. She is the author of the tetralogy Hey, it’s cold here!, a theater piece and performance presented in the fall of 2012. She has co-directed It comes from within, the latest video by the Honey for Petzi.

Valerio Scamuffa (1979, Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland. Lives and works in Lausanne) graduated from the Manufacture – Haute école de théâtre de Suisse romande (HETSR) of Lausanne in 2006. He is a professional actor and musician. He acted in comedies and contemporary theater festivals in Switzerland and abroad, including the Festival de Otoño in Madrid (2013); La Bâtie in Geneva and the Zürcher Theater Spektakel in Zurich (2012); and Short Theater in Rome (2011).

Perazzini & Scamuffa have worked together since 2007. They have created theater pieces and performances, including: Retalk, Centre d’art de Neuchâtel (CAN), Switzerland, 2012; Discuss, Galerie Ex-Machina and CAN, Neuchâtel, 2011; C’est vraiment un spectacle de pédé, Festival Local Genève, 2007. At the Swiss Institute in Rome they are developing the project “Hysteria” in collaboration with Marie Villemin and Marie Léa Zwahlen, curators at the CAN of Neuchâtel.
