Katharina Limacher (1984, Wolhusen, LU) took a masters in 2009 in Sociology and Religious Studies at Universität Luzern. Since 2012 she is a doctoral candidate at the Seminar of Religious Studies, working on a thesis on the religious practices of migrant men and women in Zurich and Vienna. Her research interests are immigration, religion and social theory. In Rome she is investigating a case study on Hindu practices in urban space.
