Anne Le Troter was born in 1985 in France. She lives and works in Geneva. She has completed, in 2012, the Fine Arts HES-SO orientation Work.Master at the HEAD in Geneva, and in 2013 she won the Swiss Arts Awards. Anne Le Troter’s artistic work includes soundtracks, performances, sculptures and videos – “and any sort of possible formation that leads back to writing,” she says. Her sound installations include circular monologues on personal experiences and self-reflective texts on music and speech, improvisations in front of the microphone, experimenting with recordings with severe rhythms, repetitions and accelerated speech. She has taken part in group shows in Switzerland and France and had a solo show in Geneva, as well as working on publications, radio programs, readings and performances.
